\nThis concert series comprised over ten weeks of fun and music, and offer a unique collaboration between the venues the Upstairs at Grundy’s Rueb n’ Stein and the Contented Cow. Concerts started at 8pm at Grundy’s and then finished with a late 11pm jam of bands in a less-formal setting at the Contented Cow stage.
\nThe 2008 ArtOrg Winter concert series started with Peter Lang and Pert’ Near Sandstone on January 18–a day when the temperature was a cool minus 10 F at concert time! Then, some eleven weeks, eighteen bands, and over 500 people in attendance later (see all of the photosets of the concerts here<\/a>), we celebrated with an event called “ArtProm”. ArtProm was billed with the following tagline: “Who Will You Take to ArtProm?” Congratulations to winners of our eBay auction for the sponsorship of the entire series–David and Jeniffer Koenig! Also thanks to Pachyderm Studios for their support.<\/p>\n
