Springboard for the Arts<\/a> is a well-known and established advocate for artists and their careers. Springboard’s entire 9-segment class series starts off this Friday evening at ArtOrg in Northfield. The classes are split into three sections that are all held on a Friday night\/Saturday morning and afternoon schedule. \nThis session focuses on promotional materials: your business card, artist statement, artistic r\u00e9sum\u00e9, and your portfolio. We will talk about targeting your resume, choosing a work sample (slides vs. CD, etc.) and composing the catalog page that accompanies it. We\u2019ll discuss documentation techniques
\nand effective uses of promotional materials. Artists are encouraged to bring promotional materials along for review.
