2006 Northfield Day of the Dead Celebration

• This short video captures the first celebration from 2006 of Day of the Dead in Northfield, Minnesota. The 104-foot-long steamroller print was unveiled that evening, 200 meals were gone within 45 minutes, and the total crowd was estimated at over 400. A community ofrenda included a large sawdust piece and about 200 marigold plants that were in full bloom. Thanks to everyone for a wonderful event.
