Scott King Show continues…and another reading Friday, May 26

Scott King and Barry Cipra Scott King’s Gallery show continues until Sunday, May 28. Hours are from 5 to 8 pm Thursdays and Fridays, and from 1 to 4 pm Saturdays and Sundays.

Diane Jarvenpa Another reading is scheduled during Scott’s show. Diane Jarvenpa will be reading from her work Ancient Wonders that of course was produced by Scott’s Red Dragonfly Press. Diane’s music career can be followed at her website and also at various times on The Current radio station. Diane Jarvenpa will be reading on Friday, May 26 at 7pm.

James Lenfestey One of the opening’s particular treats was James Lenfestey reading from his book Han-Shan is the Cure for Warts. James Lenfestey was on the editorial staff of the Minneapolis Star and Tribune for many years and also on the Board of Directors of the Minnesota Center for Book Arts. Video files from these readings from Han-Shan is the Cure for Warts: Carved Bones, Emptying Dishwasher Mind, Finding My Older Brother, Travels to the Interior, When Sound Leaks Fron the Cedar Grove, and Morning Walk (including remarks to Scott King).
