The Day of the Dead, or Dia de los Muertos is an important Latino holiday. We have collected videos and other stuff from projects and celebrations in one place on our website. The videos in particular may provide a good resource to explain the Day of the Dead traditions, because we have artists talking about their Day of the Dead inspired art, poet Ray Gonzalez reciting his related Day of the Dead works, and Day of the Dead scholar Juanita Garciagodoy talking about her book on the subject. The traditions of Dia de los Muertos are quite a bit different than Halloween!
