WCS #11 Howard “Guitar” Luedtke Friday

ArtOrg’s next-to-the-last evening of fun and music in the 2008 Winter Concert Series features consummate bluesman Howard “Guitar” Luedtke and Blue Max. On Friday, March 28 join us at the Upstairs at the Rueb from 7 to 11, and thereafter at the Contented Cow from 11 to close. Howard may not go to the Cow, so make sure to come to the Upstairs, catch the show, and twist his arm and bring him to the Cow!

One of the most versatile band’s around, Howard “Guitar” Luedtke & Blue Max perform regularly at rock, blues and jazz festivals all over Wisconsin and Minnesota. Many who have seen Howard “Guitar” Luedtke and Blue Max have become big fans of their rockin’ electric blues style. Since 1987, Howard with his wife and bassist, Deb Klossner have opened up for or played with some of the best in the blues world, including: Long John Baldrey, Sugar Blue, Lonnie Brooks, Clarence “Gatemouth” Brown, Lil’ Ed and the Blues Imperials, Debbie Davies, Tinsley Ellis, Jeff Healey, Jimmy Johnson, Kenny Neal, A.C. Reed, Eddie Shaw, James Solberg, Hubert Sumlin, Koko Taylor, George Thorogood, Joe Louis Walker and Johnny Winter.
